What to expect:
As our Portfolio Controller and Finance Lead you will work closely with managing partners, investment team and office manager as well as external service providers. You will have responsibility for smooth financial operations overall, including:
Portfolio Controlling
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly reporting KPI reporting from portfolio companies
- Monitor SLAs for KPI dashboard portfolio reporting
- Assess the overall portfolio health and prepare risk heatmaps
- Prepare board materials and management presentations
Financial Accounting & Cost Management
- Oversee the financial accounting and reporting with support from outsourced service providers
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Monthly cost reporting
- Manage external audit and valuation processes
- Manage tax advice and reviews, with support from outsourced service providers
- Initiate and manage payments, capital calls and distributions
- Adequate archiving of relevant financial documents
- Execute day-to-day tasks and manage service providers
Fund Reporting
- Develop and refine the financial fund model and related metrics
- Ensure accurate fund reporting, including working closely with the investment team
- Performance simulations and forecasts
- Manage regulatory and ESG reporting
- Prepare board materials and management presentations
Transaction & Portfolio Support
- Perform KYB/AML checks, with support from outsourced service providers
- Adequate administration of transaction documents, resolutions and financial statements related to investments
- Implement policies, keeping them up-to-date and ensuring compliance
What we expect:
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Profound knowledge in finance and accounting
- Excellent German and English language skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (esp. MS Excel)
